Courtney McShane, a girl with an entrepreneurial spirit, determination, drive and a dream. 

 

Growing up in Toms River, NJ, Courtney moved to Avon by the Sea to raise her children in the picturesque sea shore town. Courtney felt a strong desire to bring this community a taste of happiness. Featuring the infamous Nastos Homemade Ice Cream, Courtney’s absolute favorite, she was confident in making her dream a reality!

 

Courtney began “creating her happy” in Spring 2019. Her shoppe is everything from hand-dipped ice cream, homemade brownies & cookies, signature milkshakes and handcrafted ice cream pies and cakes. She features Classic Stewart’s Soda for all her soda floats, as well as espresso, coffee and Nitro Cold Brew for a delicious coffee float. She loves taking classic desserts and putting a modern creative twist to them - Courtney believes in endless possibilities.

Her mott,“Create your happy," is her signature saying as you will see in the Bright pink neon lights when walking in her store. The “shoppe” isn’t just about scooping ice cream for customers, it’s about creating an experience for them. In her words, “I have the opportunity to build relationships within a community, capture lifetime memories and connect with people. All of this leaves a lasting impression and that is my happiness!" Ice cream laid the foundation for Courtney’s, but you will also notice the sweetest selection of gifts, yummy scented candles, chocolates and adorable merch available.

 

It is rare you won’t see her face behind the counter when going to Courtney’s. The shoppe is a true reflection of her soul, something one will immediately notice upon walking in!
